the decision to not name Beckham in the squad is his biggest mistake so far. surely Becks deserves 10 minutes to gain his 100th cap in this friendly. Not fit? has he seen how our fit players can throw games away with ease. i never believed we needed a foreign manager and now i am certain we don’t.
It’s now 12/08/2010. Not long after the embarrassment of the World Cup. I could have managed the England team better than him. Not even British, it was obvious the players were not played in the right formations, and were not playing with confidence. And now Capello insults Beckham, our Great British icon. Beckham is a british institution, someone that all aspiring little boys can look up to, and want to be like. Fantastic footballer, but sooooooooooo much more. I am personally disgusted………………..Get Capello out.
